Rams vs 49ers Best Bets: 3 Picks, a Parlay & First TD Long Shot

Five catches from Christian McCaffrey. A manageable rushing number for Kyren Williams. Davante Adams doing what he does near the end zone. Those are the starting points for our Rams vs 49ers best bets tonight.

1. McCaffrey over 4.5 receptions

This is our favorite of the three. McCaffrey caught 102 passes in 17 games last season, an average of six per game. We need five, and they can be the least exciting five catches of his life.

George Kittle has no injury designation, but San Francisco has said it will manage his workload after his Achilles injury. That does not automatically hand McCaffrey extra targets, but it strengthens the case for leaning on an established underneath option. Our read: quick throws to McCaffrey make sense when holding the ball invites pressure.

The risk: San Francisco spreads its targets around or controls the game on the ground. We’re backing the receiving role, not assuming last season’s average guarantees tonight’s result.

2. Williams over 55.5 rushing yards

Williams finished 2025 with 1,252 rushing yards on 259 carries. Tonight’s number doesn’t require a monster workload: 14 carries at four yards apiece gets him to 56.

San Francisco losing defensive tackle Alfred Collins adds to the appeal. Blake Corum is the concern because Williams won’t own every carry. Still, this is a bet on a reasonable share of a productive rushing attack, not a demand for 25 touches. We’d rather take the yards than require Williams to finish a drive with a touchdown.

3. Adams anytime touchdown

Adams scored 14 receiving touchdowns in 14 regular-season games last year. That is not the same as scoring in every game, but it is a strong reason to take his touchdown role seriously.

Eleven of those scores came from Week 7 onward as his connection with Matthew Stafford improved. We prefer backing that established scoring role at plus money over needing Adams to lead the Rams in receiving yards. Los Angeles has plenty of other ways to score, but Adams doesn’t need the biggest stat line to cash this.

Adams supplies a Rams score while McCaffrey keeps San Francisco moving with catches. Neither leg requires a particular winner or an enormous passing-yard total.

Ferguson is our small-stake swing. He produced 231 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 catches last season. That low volume is the warning, but his 21-yard receiving average gives him a route to a touchdown without needing a goal-line target.

The Rams’ use of three-tight-end formations gives him a way onto the field alongside their other weapons. We’d be betting on a well-timed early opportunity, not a guaranteed target share. He must score the first touchdown of the entire game, not simply the Rams’ first.
