How information is handled when you use Cover The Slate.
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Cover The Slate is operated by Cullin Group LLC. This policy explains how Cover The Slate handles information when you visit CoverTheSlate.com or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, use our Contact page or email alex@cullingroup.com.
Information you send us
Our contact form asks for your email address, a topic and your message. Your name and a relevant page URL are optional. The form sends these details to us by email so we can respond to questions, corrections, technical issues, privacy requests and business inquiries. Please do not include passwords, payment information or sportsbook account details.
The form also uses security checks and short-lived records derived from your IP address and email address to limit repeated submissions and reduce abuse.
Site usage and Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they use the site. Google Analytics can use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about page visits, interactions, referral sources, browsers, devices and approximate location. Your browser sends technical information to Google when it loads these services.
Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Some article pages use a view counter. It stores article identifiers and viewing times in your browser’s local storage to avoid repeatedly counting the same visit. This is separate from Google Analytics. You can remove this local information through your browser’s site-data controls.
Cookies, browser storage and technical records
WordPress and other site services may use cookies or similar storage for sign-in, preferences, security, analytics and site performance. Hosting and security services may process technical records such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser details and the time of a request to operate the site and investigate problems.
You can manage cookies and stored site data through your browser. Blocking or clearing them may affect some features. Browser controls and Google’s privacy tools provide different choices; clearing cookies alone does not necessarily stop all collection of technical information.
Third-party content and links
Our articles may contain embedded media or links to other websites. An embedded service can receive information when it loads and may use its own cookies or tracking technologies. When you follow an external link, the other site’s privacy policy and terms apply. We do not control those services.
How information is used and shared
We use information to operate and improve the site, understand readership, respond to messages, address corrections and technical problems, and protect the site from spam and abuse. Hosting, email, analytics and other service providers process information as part of providing their services. Information may also need to be retained or disclosed to address legal obligations, security issues or disputes.
Retention and privacy requests
Different records are held in different systems. Contact messages are handled through email; analytics and technical records are governed by the settings and retention arrangements of the relevant service. Some browser storage remains on your device until it expires or you clear it.
You can contact us to ask about information associated with you or to request access, correction or deletion. The rights available to you depend on applicable law. We may need to verify a request and may need to keep information for legal, security or recordkeeping reasons.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site’s features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest update.
