DraftKings King of the End Zone Week 8 MNF Betting Picks: Bears vs. Seahawks
Tory Horton is our MNF King of the End Zone pick, with Rome Odunze the Chicago alternative and Kalif Raymond and Sam Roush our longshots.

Tory Horton is our King of the End Zone pick for Bears-Seahawks. Rome Odunze is our Chicago alternative, with Kalif Raymond and Sam Roush the two longshots we want to consider.
Chicago visits Seattle on Monday, November 2, at 8:15 p.m. Eastern. We are looking for a touchdown with enough distance to beat the rest of the game. That makes Horton’s changing role especially interesting, and it is why a player who scores regularly near the goal line does not automatically lead this list.
Our MNF picks
- Our pick: Tory Horton, Seattle
- Chicago alternative: Rome Odunze
- Return-game longshot: Kalif Raymond
- Expanded-role longshot: Sam Roush
Our pick: Tory Horton
Horton is the clearest answer to who replaces Rashid Shaheed’s opportunity. Shaheed and Velus Jones Jr. are out, and Seattle’s official injury report identifies a bigger offensive role for Horton plus likely involvement in some of Shaheed’s return duties. That does not mean every vacated target becomes Horton’s, but it gives him more ways into the game. Seahawks injury and role report.
The appeal is the combination of receiving work and return ability. Horton scored on a 95-yard punt return in 2025, a franchise record documented in his official biography. A player capable of that kind of play is worth our attention when his usual path to the field opens up.
The receiving numbers keep this honest: five catches, 67 yards and one touchdown this season, with a longest gain of 17. He had no catches against Kansas City last week. This is an aggressive bet on a larger role, not a claim that he has already become a weekly deep threat. Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp still compete for passing-game work.
Horton is our choice because the injury changes his opportunity in a meaningful way. We want the upside of that change rather than paying attention only after it shows up in a box score.
Chicago alternative: Rome Odunze
Odunze has the strongest established receiving case among these four: 24 catches for 381 yards, a 15.9-yard average and a longest gain of 47. Against New England, he caught four passes for 69 yards, including three fourth-quarter receptions of 21 yards each. Those repeated chunk gains are more useful here than a simple touchdown count. Official player log.
He has not scored a receiving touchdown this season. That does not make him due, but it also does not erase the ability to gain ground quickly. His 47-yarder came in Week 1; his last two game-long catches were 23 and 21 yards. We are backing his established role and intermediate-to-deep opportunities, not pretending he has been scoring long touchdowns every week.
Seattle is a serious obstacle: it leads the league in pass defense through seven games. Chicago also has other receivers capable of winning a target, especially Luther Burden III. Odunze is our preferred Chicago alternative because his receiving role is much more established than the longshots below, even in a difficult matchup. Seattle’s matchup preview.
Longshot: Kalif Raymond
Raymond offers a different route to a long score. Chicago lists him first at both kick returner and punt returner on its October 31 depth chart, with Zavion Thomas second. He also has a 41-yard reception this season. That gives us both an offensive possibility and a reason to pay attention when Seattle kicks. Bears depth chart; official team statistics.
His recent receiving work is the clear concern: seven catches for 30 yards across October, including none against New England. Raymond is not an overlooked high-volume receiver. His season punt returns have averaged 11.8 yards, with a long of 24 and no touchdown. The longshot appeal comes from the opportunity to produce one exceptional play, not a recent string of explosive returns. Raymond’s receiving splits.
We prefer Horton because Seattle has explicitly identified a larger offensive role for him. Raymond is the deeper swing for someone drawn to the return-game path.
Longshot: Sam Roush
Roush has a real reason to see more work. Cole Kmet is out for the rest of the season, leaving the rookie behind Colston Loveland. Ben Johnson said he expects Roush’s rep count to rise, and the Bears have specifically highlighted his ability to help fill Kmet’s absence. That is a role change worth taking seriously. Chicago’s tight-end report.
Our longshot case is a new receiving opportunity in an offense that can create space for tight ends. A play-action release or catch-and-run would fit that idea. It is a football possibility, not a reported new play package or a promised target count.
The distance evidence is thin: three catches for 33 yards, no touchdowns and a longest gain of 16. He has not caught a pass since Week 4. More snaps may include substantial blocking work, and Loveland remains the starter. Roush can score without producing the longest touchdown, so he carries the most uncertainty of our four selections. Official player log.
We would take him as a true longshot, not put him on equal footing with Odunze’s established role. The reason to consider him now is Kmet’s absence, not his previous box scores.
Why not simply take the biggest name?
Smith-Njigba remains the obvious benchmark, with eight receiving touchdowns and an 82-yard score this season. We are choosing Horton for the more speculative role-change angle, not claiming he is more likely to score than Smith-Njigba. Burden is another legitimate alternative after his four catches against New England went for 58, 26, 24 and 22 yards; the 24-yarder was a screen touchdown. Smith-Njigba’s long touchdown; Bears film review.
Our final choice
Horton is our pick. Odunze is the Chicago alternative we would feel best about. Raymond and Roush are the deeper swings, with Raymond offering a return-game angle and Roush a newly expanded offensive role.
Return-touchdown eligibility and individual versus team D/ST credit depend on the specific DraftKings offer.
