Ja’Marr Chase ($8,100) and Tee Higgins ($7,100) are questionable for Cincinnati’s game at Miami on Sunday, October 11. Both practiced fully Friday, but the Bengals’ final report still lists Chase with a concussion and Higgins with groin and neck injuries. All prices below are DraftKings Sunday Main Slate salaries.

Chase progressed from no practice Wednesday to limited Thursday and full Friday. Higgins missed the first two practices before returning. The next decisions are Chase’s clearance and Cincinnati’s game-day active list ahead of the 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Colbie Young ($3,600) is also questionable, so the reserve group is not completely settled.

What it means for Cincinnati

Joe Burrow ($6,900) loses more than receiving depth if either star sits. Cincinnati has fewer established options to beat coverage and finish drives. In the Week 4 loss to Jacksonville, Zac Taylor said the offense ended up relying on Dohnte Meyers, Mitch Tinsley and its tight ends after losing both receivers. That is evidence of who can step in, not a guarantee of the same workload against Miami.

The DFS decision: who gains and who loses?

If one misses: the available star becomes a stronger candidate to command targets. Meyers ($3,500), Tinsley ($3,300) and Mike Gesicki ($4,100) become more relevant as lower-cost pieces around Burrow. We would compare their actual roles rather than assume the cheapest receiver inherits every missing route.

If both miss: Meyers and Tinsley offer substantial salary relief, but Burrow’s ceiling becomes harder to trust without either premier receiver. Gesicki is another potential beneficiary. Young’s status also matters before assigning the remaining opportunities. A cheaper stack is not automatically a better stack.

If both play: Chase and Higgins reclaim the strongest case for meaningful passing-game exposure. The injury-driven appeal of Meyers and Tinsley falls, and Gesicki has more target competition. Any credible workload limitation would still matter at Chase’s and Higgins’ prices.

Our next move is to settle the available receivers, then compare the resulting combinations in the CTS NFL research tools. Do not commit to an emergency replacement while also assuming the injured starters will handle their normal roles.
