MLB DFS Picks Today: DraftKings Main Slate Pitchers, Stacks & Values

Sunday’s DraftKings MLB DFS main slate starts at 1:10 PM ET and gives us 10 games. Coors Field is the obvious offensive decision, but we do not want every lineup to become Seattle plus the same pitcher.

Pitchers

Cristopher Sánchez, $11,100

Our preferred raw-points arm. He enters the Mets matchup with a 2.93 ERA and 215 strikeouts. Paying up also naturally makes our hitter construction different from the easiest Coors builds.

Gavin Williams, $10,400

Williams gets Oakland and enters with 235 strikeouts. He is our favorite pivot when the $700 savings materially improves the stack.

Jacob deGrom, $9,600

Premium strikeout talent below $10K. Toronto is a tougher matchup, but the salary gives us more room for bats.

Troy Melton, $8,700

Our favorite mid-range tournament arm. He brings a 2.52 ERA into the White Sox matchup and creates a much easier path to expensive stacks.

Stacks

1. Seattle at Colorado

Randy Arozarena $6,200, Cal Raleigh $5,600, Julio Rodríguez $5,000, Josh Naylor $4,300, Cole Young $3,900 and Taylor Ward $3,700 give us several ways to attack Coors without simply taking the five most expensive Mariners.

2. Cleveland vs. Jack Perkins

Perkins enters with a 6.14 ERA. José Ramírez $5,500 anchors the stack with Travis Bazzana $4,500, Chase DeLauter $4,200, Steven Kwan $3,800, Brayan Rocchio $3,300 and Kyle Manzardo $2,800.

3. Cubs at Reds

Rhett Lowder enters with a 5.79 ERA. Pete Crow-Armstrong $6,700, Alex Bregman $5,800, Seiya Suzuki $5,200, Michael Busch $4,500, Ian Happ $4,200 and Dansby Swanson $4,100 carry plenty of ceiling.

4. St. Louis vs. Jake Irvin

Our favorite lower-profile stack against a pitcher carrying a 5.51 ERA. Jordan Walker $5,200, Alec Burleson $4,900, JJ Wetherholt $4,400, Ivan Herrera $4,000, Thomas Saggese $3,000 and Masyn Winn $2,900 fit together cleanly.

One-off hitters

José Ramírez $5,500: our favorite non-Coors spend-up.
Elly De La Cruz $6,000: slate-breaking ceiling without requiring a Cincinnati stack.
James Wood $6,300: a strong tournament one-off when the field spends on Coors.
Kyle Schwarber $5,700: pure home-run ceiling.

Value hitters

Kyle Manzardo $2,800, Masyn Winn $2,900, Matt Shaw $2,900 and Justin Crawford $2,600 are our favorite salary releases if they make the starting lineup.

GPP strategy

We do not need to fade Coors to be different. Seattle can be paired with a lower-owned secondary stack, or we can pay for Sánchez and force the rest of the lineup away from the easiest five-man combination. Cleveland and St. Louis are our favorite alternate scoring paths.
