NFL Week 4 DraftKings Showdown: Colts vs. Commanders London DFS Oct. 4
DraftKings Showdown picks for Colts vs. Commanders in London, including Captain and FLEX ownership projections, core plays, values, GPP leverage and a sample lineup.

FINAL INACTIVES UPDATE
Terry McLaurin is INACTIVE with the hamstring injury. Jayden Daniels and Rachaad White are also OUT for Washington. Keenan Allen is OUT for Indianapolis. Marcus Mariota starts at quarterback for Washington.
Favorite Captains: Josh Downs $13,200, Marcus Mariota $14,700, Jonathan Taylor $17,400
Core FLEX: Jonathan Taylor $11,600, Marcus Mariota $9,800
Washington WR upgrade: Stefon Diggs $8,400
Value FLEX: Antonio Williams $3,800, Dyami Brown $3,000, Laquon Treadwell $3,200
McLaurin being inactive materially changes Washington’s target tree. Stefon Diggs moves back up our FLEX board, while Antonio Williams and Dyami Brown regain the salary-saving appeal that disappeared in the active-McLaurin scenario. We still do not want three expensive Colts weapons forced into every build.
Favorite Captains
Josh Downs $13,200
Downs remains our favorite tournament Captain with Keenan Allen unavailable. The Captain salary saves enough from Taylor to preserve multiple strong FLEX pieces.
Marcus Mariota $14,700
Mariota is our favorite Washington Captain. With Daniels out and McLaurin now inactive, Washington’s offense runs through Mariota’s passing and rushing production.
Jonathan Taylor $17,400
Taylor remains the strongest raw touchdown play. We prefer him in FLEX more often because of the Captain salary, but a multi-score Colts-control script can still make him optimal at CPT.
Core FLEX
Jonathan Taylor $11,600
Taylor is the raw FLEX priority and gives us Indianapolis scoring access without requiring Downs and Warren in the same core.
Marcus Mariota $9,800
Mariota is the Washington piece we trust most. Every Washington passing touchdown runs through him, and he adds independent rushing ceiling.
Washington Receiver Upgrade
Stefon Diggs $8,400
Diggs moves back up the board with McLaurin inactive. He is the preferred Washington receiving piece and a strong Mariota pairing, although we still prefer Mariota himself as the core Washington exposure.
Antonio Williams $3,800
Williams becomes one of the slate’s most useful salary savers again. McLaurin’s absence creates a much cleaner route to meaningful snaps and targets than the active-McLaurin scenario.
Dyami Brown $3,000
Brown is the cheaper Washington value. At $3,000, he does not need a huge receiving line if the savings allow Taylor, Mariota and another premium piece to coexist.
Indianapolis Value
Laquon Treadwell $3,200
Indianapolis remains thin at receiver with Allen unavailable. Treadwell gives us a cheap Colts route without paying for Downs, Warren and Taylor together.
Secondary FLEX Pool
Daniel Jones $10,400: strong raw quarterback play but expensive enough that he is not mandatory alongside Taylor. Tyler Warren $8,600: strong receiving option, but lineup-dependent rather than core. Jacory Croskey-Merritt $6,800: touchdown-based Washington leverage that can benefit if the offense leans more heavily on the run without McLaurin.
Final Build Approach
Colts-led: Downs Captain + Taylor FLEX + Mariota FLEX, then use one Washington value and decide whether Jones or Warren earns another premium slot.
Washington-led: Mariota Captain + Diggs + one of Antonio Williams/Dyami Brown/Croskey-Merritt, then bring back Taylor or Downs.
Balanced: Downs Captain + Taylor + Mariota + Diggs + two values. McLaurin’s absence makes the cheap Washington receivers materially more useful for this construction.
