Bills-Rams kicks off Monday, October 12, 2026, at 8:15 p.m. ET. Buffalo has the offense to keep this game moving. Its defense is the bigger concern. With Puka Nacua back alongside Davante Adams, and Ed Oliver out for the Bills, we want exposure to the Rams’ offense without making the entire card depend on a shootout.

Our four selections are Stafford’s passing over, the Rams against the spread, Josh Allen to score and a small-stake James Cook reception under. Keon Coleman is the first-touchdown longshot. For King of the End Zone, Cook leads our shortlist, with Nacua and Adams offering different ways to chase the longest score.

The four-bet MNF card

Bet Published price Our limit Stake
Matthew Stafford over 277.5 passing yards DraftKings -113, via Legion Report 282.5 or lower, -115 or better 0.75 units
Los Angeles Rams -3.5 DraftKings -105, via DraftKings Network -3.5, -105 or better 0.5 units
Josh Allen anytime touchdown BetMGM -118, via BetMGM -125 or better 0.75 units
James Cook under 1.5 receptions BetMGM +110, via Legion Report +100 or better; normal Ty Johnson role 0.25 units

The prices come from the linked public boards and sportsbook articles below. Stafford and Cook use comparison-site quotes, and none is a guaranteed bet-slip offer. If your sportsbook has a worse number than our limit, skip that selection.

1. Matthew Stafford over 277.5 passing yards

DraftKings -113, reported by Legion Report. Play through 282.5 at -115.

Buffalo has allowed 10 passing touchdowns and 1,096 passing yards through four games. Oliver’s absence removes an important source of interior disruption. Greg Rousseau can still wreck a possession from the edge, but the Bills need more than one defender winning his matchup to keep Stafford from finding answers.

Stafford’s last three passing totals are 327, 390 and 317 yards. The useful distinction is how he reached them: 31 attempts against the Giants, then 55 and 51 in two much messier games. We aren’t projecting another 50-throw night. Nacua’s return and the choice of Adams, tight ends and backs give Stafford a path to this number with a more ordinary workload.

The risk: An efficient Rams running game can take attempts away, particularly if Los Angeles leads comfortably. Stafford has also thrown six interceptions in four games. This bet needs sustained drives and enough passing volume; the recent yardage streak alone is not the reason to take it. Pass above 282.5.

2. Los Angeles Rams -3.5

DraftKings -105 on the DraftKings Network odds board. Maximum price: -105 at -3.5.

The Rams have the better defensive matchup. Their first four opponents have managed 4.0 yards per play, and Aaron Donald and Jaylen Watson are available for Monday. Buffalo is missing both Joshua Palmer and DJ Moore. Los Angeles can pressure Allen without needing to sell out against every receiving option.

On the other side, Buffalo has to defend Nacua and Adams while accounting for Kyren Williams underneath and on the ground. That variety matters against a defense missing Oliver. We prefer the near-even spread price to laying a much larger moneyline price.

The risk: Allen can beat good coverage, Cook can create explosive runs and a three-point Rams win loses. Quentin Lake is available, and Buffalo will be without Moore and Palmer. Late workload limitations would still matter. We are not chasing -4.

3. Josh Allen anytime touchdown

BetMGM -118 in its Bills-Rams touchdown market article. Maximum price: -125.

Allen’s short-yardage role is the reason this makes the card. Buffalo’s official situational stats show nine carries inside the opponent’s 20 and six touchdowns on those carries. He has seven rushing scores overall. The Bills are regularly putting the ball in their quarterback’s hands to finish drives.

We prefer that role to asking Allen for a big rushing-yard total. He ran for only four yards against New England and still scored. A short touchdown is enough here, including in a game the Bills lose.

The risk: Los Angeles has allowed only one rushing touchdown through four games. Donald’s return strengthens that front, and Allen’s early conversion rate is too high to assume it continues. Cook or a receiver can finish Buffalo’s scoring drives instead. This is an anytime scorer bet: a touchdown Allen throws does not cash it.

4. James Cook under 1.5 receptions

BetMGM +110, reported by Legion Report. Require even money or better. Stake: 0.25 units.

Cook can have a productive rushing night without catching two passes. Ty Johnson has handled most of the obvious passing situations since returning, and RotoWire’s usage review reports just three Cook targets across the two games since Johnson returned, even though Buffalo trailed in both. More passing does not automatically mean more Cook catches when Johnson is the back running those routes.

This is our lowest-confidence main-card selection. The post-Johnson sample is only two games, and Cook caught two balls last week, which would lose this bet. The passing-down split is the reason for the under, but the uncertainty keeps us at a quarter-unit and makes even money our minimum.

The risk: Two short checkdowns lose this bet, even if they gain almost nothing. Moore and Palmer being inactive gives Buffalo a reason to adjust. Pass if Johnson is unavailable or limited, or if credible pregame reporting points to an expanded Cook receiving role. Do not substitute a shorter receiving-yard under or lay juice on this reception line.

What about the game total?

We are passing at 55.5. Buffalo’s defensive issues and the Rams’ range of offensive options make an under difficult to support with conviction. The over has a case, but the number already demands a productive night from both teams, and Los Angeles has the defense to make Buffalo work. We prefer the individual matchups above to forcing a full-game total.

First-touchdown longshot: Keon Coleman +1900

BetMGM +1900 in its Bills-Rams touchdown market article. Minimum: +1900. Stake: 0.1 units.

Coleman has an actual route role and a way to score from outside the goal line. He caught six passes for 116 yards last week, including a 34-yard touchdown. Moore and Palmer are inactive, leaving more of Buffalo’s outside receiving work available. This is our small-stake bet on Allen connecting with Coleman before either team turns the game into a goal-line rushing contest.

There is plenty to beat: Trent McDuffie and Watson are a difficult cornerback pair, Allen and Cook can take the finish, and a Rams touchdown first ends this ticket immediately. This means the first touchdown of the entire game, not Buffalo’s first touchdown. Most nights a bet at this price loses.

King of the End Zone: Cook first, Nacua and Adams as alternatives

DraftKings’ Bills-Rams explainer confirms that tonight’s King of the End Zone promotion rewards the longest single touchdown. We are looking for the player who can turn one scoring play into the longest gain. Passing touchdowns do not count for the quarterback.

  • Our choice: James Cook. The Rams’ own game preview credits him with an NFL-leading 15 explosive carries through Week 4. He has repeated chances to break a run, which fits a longest-touchdown contest. Los Angeles’ strong front is a real obstacle, and explosive carries do not necessarily become touchdowns. The receiving under above does not depend on shutting down his rushing production.
  • Volume alternative: Puka Nacua. He returned with nine catches for 125 yards last week. His ability to turn a reception into a longer gain gives him a path beyond a goal-line touch. He is the option if you would rather back the Rams’ primary receiving involvement.
  • Downfield alternative: Davante Adams. His 22 catches have produced 390 yards, including a 64-yard gain. He offers a different big-play route, though Nacua’s return increases the competition for targets.

Check tonight’s terms in your DraftKings account before using a token. Eligibility, qualifying markets and payout rules must match your offer.

Before kickoff

Buffalo’s final inactive list includes Moore, Palmer, Oliver, Dee Alford and Landon Jackson. Benford, Coleman, Bell and Ty Johnson are available, and the Bills explicitly confirm that newly elevated Sherfield is active. The NFL’s complete inactive lists leave Lake, Donald, Watson and Parkinson available for the Rams. Active status confirms eligibility to play; it does not promise an unrestricted workload. Keep the Cook reception under at a quarter-unit only if Johnson retains his usual passing-down role.

These are four singles, with 2.25 units of total main-card exposure. The Rams spread and Stafford over share offensive risk, and the other bets still live inside the same game. Keep Coleman separate and tiny. Use only money set aside for entertainment, and do not increase stakes to make up for an earlier loss.
