CTS Main Slate Board
Top pitcher: Cam Schlittler $11,500
Favorite SP2: Bryan Woo $8,500
Value pitcher: Grayson Rodriguez $5,500
Favorite stack: Atlanta
Favorite GPP stack: Houston
Favorite one-off: Julio Rodriguez $4,400
Favorite value bat: Ha-Seong Kim $2,100 if starting
Pitchers
Cam Schlittler, Yankees, $11,500
Schlittler owns the slate’s best combination of run prevention and strikeout ceiling. Tampa Bay-New York also carries one of the lowest totals on the board. The challenge is purely salary.
Tyler Glasnow, Dodgers, $10,500
Glasnow is our premium tournament pivot. San Diego is a tougher matchup, but his strikeout ceiling keeps him viable when Schlittler becomes the obvious spend-up.
Bryan Woo, Mariners, $8,500
Woo is our favorite SP2. The Angels have struggled offensively, and Woo’s price makes Atlanta and Houston stacks much easier to build without dropping into punt bats everywhere.
Ranger Suarez, Red Sox, $7,900
Suarez is another balanced mid-range route against Cleveland. We prefer Woo, but Suarez belongs in multi-entry builds where the extra $600 changes a hitter.
Value Pitcher: Grayson Rodriguez, Angels, $5,500
Rodriguez is the aggressive salary-release play. The results have been poor, but $5,500 is an extreme discount for a pitcher with strikeout ability. Seattle is not a soft matchup, so this is for GPP builds where the savings buy substantially better bats.
Favorite Stack: Atlanta Braves vs. Brady Singer
Singer enters with a 5.67 ERA and 1.56 WHIP. Ronald Acuna Jr. $5,800 and Matt Olson $5,300 are the ceiling anchors. Drake Baldwin $4,700, Michael Harris II $4,200 and Ozzie Albies $3,800 fit naturally behind them. Austin Riley $3,400, Sean Murphy $2,900 and Ha-Seong Kim $2,100 can make the stack surprisingly affordable if starting.
Other Stacks
Houston Astros at Athletics
Mason Barnett enters with a 7.16 ERA and 1.75 WHIP. We like Yordan Alvarez $6,500, Jeremy Pena $5,200, Isaac Paredes $4,600, Jose Altuve $4,400, Christian Walker $4,000 and Yainer Diaz $3,900.
Seattle Mariners vs. Grayson Rodriguez
If we are not using Rodriguez, Seattle becomes one of our favorite offenses to attack with Randy Arozarena $5,500, Cal Raleigh $4,800, Julio Rodriguez $4,400 and Josh Naylor $3,800.
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Nick Pivetta
The matchup should keep ownership more reasonable. Shohei Ohtani $6,000, Mookie Betts $5,500, Freddie Freeman $5,400, Teoscar Hernandez $4,800 and Kyle Tucker $4,600 retain slate-breaking upside.
Best One-Off Hitters
Julio Rodriguez $4,400: our favorite price-adjusted one-off.
Aaron Judge $6,000: premium raw ceiling.
Jose Ramirez $5,300: power and speed without needing a Cleveland stack.
Cal Raleigh $4,800: elite catcher power.
Value Bats
Ha-Seong Kim $2,100 if starting, Sean Murphy $2,900, Alex Call $2,400 if starting and Kyle Manzardo $2,800 are our preferred salary savers.
GPP Construction
Schlittler plus Woo is the strongest raw pairing but forces value bats. Woo plus Suarez creates balance. Grayson at $5,500 is the volatile route that can unlock multiple premium hitters. The cheap pitcher is useful only if the hitters bought with those savings materially increase the lineup’s ceiling.
CTS Core
Cam Schlittler $11,500
Bryan Woo $8,500
Value SP: Grayson Rodriguez $5,500
Ronald Acuna Jr. $5,800
Michael Harris II $4,200
Ha-Seong Kim $2,100 if starting
