NHL DFS DraftKings | October 2, 2026: Main Slate Picks & Stacks

Friday’s DraftKings main slate is four games in the supplied file: Washington-Carolina, Boston-Winnipeg, St. Louis-Dallas and Anaheim-Vegas. Our NHL Daily Lineups tool is the companion board for current line combinations and goalie order.

Top Stack: Dallas

Jason Robertson · LW · $7,600 | Wyatt Johnston · C · $6,400 | Mikko Rantanen · RW · $6,600

Dallas gives us the cleanest premium three-man attack. Robertson led the Stars with 96 points last season, while Johnston and Rantanen add elite finishing and power-play upside.

Vegas: Premium Late Hammer

Jack Eichel · C · $8,100 | Mitch Marner · RW · $7,100 | Mark Stone · RW · $6,700

Eichel is our favorite Vegas spend-up. Marner and Stone give us multiple ways to build around the late game without forcing one exact combination.

Winnipeg: Concentrated Star Power

Kyle Connor · LW · $7,700 | Mark Scheifele · C · $7,000 | Gabriel Vilardi · RW · $5,200

Connor is the shot and goal ceiling, Scheifele drives the middle, and Vilardi provides the third correlated piece.

Carolina: Mid-Range Stack

Sebastian Aho · C · $6,300 | Andrei Svechnikov · LW · $6,100 | Nikolaj Ehlers · LW · $5,800

Carolina is our favorite way to stay out of the very top salary tier. Aho and Svechnikov remain the priority pieces.

One-Off Plays

David Pastrnak · RW · $8,000

Our favorite pure Boston one-off. Shot volume keeps the ceiling intact.

Alex Ovechkin · LW · $6,300

Washington’s opening-night shooting centerpiece.

Jason Robertson · LW · $7,600

Works outside the full Dallas stack because the goal ceiling stands on its own.

Jack Eichel · C · $8,100

The strongest individual Vegas spend-up.

JJ Peterka · LW · $4,800

Useful mid-range Boston exposure after scoring in the opener.

Mason McTavish · C · $4,500

Debuts for St. Louis and gives us a cheaper route into the top six.

Defensemen

Miro Heiskanen · D · $5,700

Premium Dallas correlation.

Josh Morrissey · D · $5,500

Winnipeg’s top-end blue-line option.

Shayne Gostisbehere · D · $4,500

Mid-range Carolina exposure.

Noah Hanifin · D · $3,500

Our favorite salary-saving Vegas defenseman.

Goalies

Jake Oettinger · G · $8,300

Preferred premium option if he starts. The supplied DK file marks him probable.

Brandon Bussi · G · $8,000

Carolina’s probable goalie in the supplied file.

Logan Thompson · G · $7,400

Tournament salary pivot. The DK file marks him probable.

Value Plays

Fraser Minten · C · $3,300

Cheap Boston center after scoring in the opener.

Connor McMichael · LW · $4,200

New St. Louis piece at a salary that works next to premium Dallas or Vegas exposure.

Noah Hanifin · D · $3,500

Affordable defense with late-game access.

Tyler Seguin · RW · $3,500

Cheap Dallas exposure if his confirmed role supports it.

Bargain Bin

Sam Steel · C · $2,500 | Braeden Bowman · LW · $2,700 | Eric Robinson · RW · $2,800 | Isak Rosen · LW · $2,600

Example Lineup

C Jack Eichel $8,100
