DraftKings picks at a glance

November 7, 2026 · DraftKings main slate · Noon ET

Player / DK salary Quick reason
Blake Barnett
$4,500
Starting-quarterback salary relief after 224 passing yards and three TDs in relief; the weekly floor is unproven.
Josh Manning
$4,900
Preferred Barnett pairing after six catches on eight targets for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Conner Weigman
$8,600
Premium Houston stack anchor in a game with a 36-point market-implied Houston total.
Amare Thomas
$7,300
The higher-priced receiving route to Houston’s strong passing-game environment.
Patrick Overmyer
$5,400
Cheaper Houston stacking option with seven receiving TDs. Confirm final availability.
Jarvis Green
$4,100
Clemson’s starting back offers salary relief, but Johnson and Haynes also have roles.
Dakorien Moore
$7,200
Twenty-three catches in three games support the volume case; Ohio State makes the matchup harder.
Dylan Raiola
$6,000
Tournament pairing with Moore after 336 yards and three passing TDs; a tougher opponent raises risk.
Cam Wallace
$5,400
Twenty-two carries for 135 yards in his first start, but Hansen retains a substantial share.

Conditional injury values

Player / DK salary Quick reason
Amari Thomas
$4,000
Wisner is now probable. Thomas remains a contingency only if Wisner is out and Thomas is confirmed to lead the replacement work.
Emmett Mosley V
$4,400
Wingo is now probable; Coleman remains questionable. Mosley still needs a confirmed role increase.
Sione Moa
$5,200
Conditional on Martin’s final status and the backfield split; Martin is expected to try to play.

Saturday’s 12-game DraftKings slate starts at noon ET on November 7, 2026. The best starting point is Blake Barnett at $4,500, with Houston providing a strong passing-game environment and several injury-driven running back decisions still requiring a final check. All salaries below come from the supplied DKSalaries (113).csv. These are research-based selections, not simulation rankings or projected ownership.

The players to build around

Blake Barnett gives the slate its clearest salary relief

Barnett costs $4,500, compared with $9,800 for Oklahoma State’s Drew Mestemaker in the same game. Kansas State has named Barnett the starter after its latest quarterback change. Official team notes credit him with 224 passing yards and three touchdowns in relief against Colorado. That is enough evidence to take the starting opportunity seriously, but one strong relief appearance does not establish a stable weekly floor.

The preferred pairing is Josh Manning at $4,900. Manning caught six of eight targets for 73 yards and a touchdown last week, providing a better reason to stack him than the touchdown alone. Barnett and Manning cost $9,400 combined. Garrett Oakley at $3,800 and Linkon Cure at $3,600 are cheaper alternatives, but last week’s touchdowns do not establish equivalent target volume. Use one rather than automatically loading up on all three.

For clarity, Josh Manning is the Kansas State receiver. Texas quarterback Arch Manning costs $7,300.

Houston is the premium stack to prioritize

Conner Weigman at $8,600 pairs with Amare Thomas at $7,300 or Patrick Overmyer at $5,400. The observed Houston -10.5 spread and 61.5 total imply 36 Houston points, calculated from the market rather than generated by a model. That scoring environment is a compelling reason to spend here.

Willie Fritz described Weigman as full go after Houston’s bye, while Overmyer returned to practice and leads the team with seven receiving touchdowns. The $14,000 Weigman–Overmyer combination saves $1,900 against Weigman–Thomas. Overmyer is an appealing salary alternative, although touchdowns alone do not prove a safer target floor. Thomas remains the more expensive route to the passing game. Confirm Overmyer’s final availability before treating either combination as complete.

Cincinnati’s JV Gibson at $5,200 can serve as a tournament bring-back. That is a correlation choice, not a claim that his current target share is secure.

Jarvis Green is value with a workload question

Green costs $4,100 and will start for Clemson with Gideon Davidson sidelined. The important qualifier is the backfield behind him: Chris Johnson Jr. costs $4,200 and Jay Haynes $4,000. Swinney has explicitly described roles for all three. Green gets the first opportunity, not a guaranteed monopoly.

Green is a useful tournament salary saver, especially when he unlocks a premium Houston pairing. He is not a player to lock into every lineup merely because the depth chart lists him first. Johnson is a close-priced alternative if later reporting points toward a meaningful split; Haynes needs stronger workload evidence.

Tait Reynolds at $5,600 provides a separate route to Clemson’s rushing production. His mobility can help his fantasy score while also limiting running back touchdowns. Reynolds and Green together concentrate exposure to an offense that may spread its rushing work across several players.

Sources: Green starter confirmation, Swinney explains the backfield.

Dakorien Moore offers recent receiving volume

Moore costs $7,200. Oregon’s official notes credit him with 23 catches across the last three games, including seven for 128 yards and two touchdowns against Northwestern. Dylan Raiola threw for 336 yards and three touchdowns in that game and costs $6,000 here.

The $13,200 Raiola–Moore pairing is a tournament alternative to Houston. Its appeal is recent volume and salary, with the risk that Ohio State is a much less forgiving opponent. Do not turn last week’s production into a matchup-independent projection.

Ohio State has named Luke Fahey its starter. Fahey costs $7,000; Tavien St. Clair at $6,600 is not a cheaper starting-quarterback option. Jeremiah Smith’s $9,500 salary remains a major commitment alongside that quarterback uncertainty.

Sources: official Oregon notes, Ohio State starter confirmation.

Cam Wallace has earned consideration, not sole possession

Wallace costs $5,400 after making his first Penn State start and carrying 22 times for 135 yards and a touchdown. Carson Hansen still recorded 17 carries for 96 yards and a score and costs $5,500. Wallace is the slightly cheaper tournament choice, but this remains a shared backfield in a game with a 43.5 DraftKings total in Friday evening’s market snapshot.

Washington receiver Chris Lawson at $6,400 also deserves attention after a 12-catch game. The matchup moderates that interest: Penn State’s official notes list its pass defense at 141.4 yards allowed per game. Those raw defensive averages are descriptive, not opponent-adjusted forecasts.

The noon injury decisions

Florida State has the most important conditional minimum-salary running back. Amari Thomas costs $4,000, with Quintrevion Wisner at $5,900 upgraded to probable Friday, and Samuel Singleton Jr. and Ousmane Kromah out. Thomas becomes a meaningful value candidate if Wisner is ruled out and Thomas is confirmed to lead the replacement work. Keep Thomas as a contingency while Wisner has a path to playing. Friday injury update.

There are inexpensive receiving alternatives with Duce Robinson out: Jasen Lopez is $3,300 and Micahi Danzy $4,300. Last week Lopez drew eight targets; Danzy drew five and delivered the larger yardage total. Lopez is the cheaper volume-based consideration, while Danzy’s explosive performance makes him a tournament alternative. Ashton Daniels costs $9,000, so cheap receivers do not automatically require paying up for their quarterback.

Texas receiver Ryan Wingo at $5,300 is now probable, while Cam Coleman at $5,100 remains questionable. Friday’s report improves Wingo’s outlook without clearing Coleman. Emmett Mosley V at $4,400 remains a contingency rather than a confirmed beneficiary. BYU’s LJ Martin at $7,100 is expected to try to play, so keep Sione Moa at $5,200 conditional on final availability and the backfield split. Friday injury updates.

Sources: FSU Thursday availability coverage, FSU usage.

Moa scored twice last week on only eight carries for 20 yards, and Preston Rex at $4,600 is also expected available. Martin sitting would create an opportunity, not prove Moa has the backfield to himself. BYU status and workload.

SEC alternatives beyond the obvious names

Jamal Roberts costs $9,100 after carrying Missouri’s offense for much of the season. Missouri’s official notes list 206 scrimmage touches through eight games, or 25.8 per game. That past volume cannot be carried straight into Saturday: Ahmad Hardy returned against Arkansas, and Eli Drinkwitz subsequently indicated a larger rotation with Roberts. At this salary and a 42.5 game total, Roberts is a limited tournament option rather than a reliable workload anchor. Missouri backfield update.

LaNorris Sellers at $8,300 and Mazeo Bennett Jr. at $4,800 cost $13,100 together. That gives access to South Carolina’s favored offense without using the most expensive quarterback tier. Donovan Murph, $3,400, was cleared November 5, so do not build a receiver distribution around his earlier uncertainty. Texas A&M’s Ashton Bethel-Roman, $3,300, has been ruled out and should be excluded from Saturday’s player pool.

At Mississippi State, Fluff Bothwell at $7,100 retained 17 carries and four targets against Texas. Those opportunities are a firmer reason to consider a rebound than assuming the passing game immediately replaces Taylor’s production. On the other side, Junior Sherrill at $6,700 had eight catches on nine targets in Vanderbilt’s last game. Jared Curtis at $6,500 and Sherrill cost $13,200 as a limited tournament pairing.

At LSU, Sam Leavitt at $9,200 and Dilin Jones at $7,900 offer two different approaches to the favored offense. Ryan Coleman-Williams at $7,100 is now expected to play, according to Friday reporting, although his workload still needs confirmation. That makes Rico Scott at $5,900 and Lotzeir Brooks at $5,500 weaker replacement-volume assumptions. Coleman-Williams return update.

Salary traps and sensible alternatives

  • Wayne Knight at $8,600: UCLA’s touchdown leader still has a ceiling, but UCLA–Minnesota’s observed 38.5 total makes him a more demanding premium choice than the same-priced Weigman. Do not confuse a lower-total environment with a guarantee of failure.
  • Drew Mestemaker at $9,800: the expensive game-stack route remains viable, but Barnett’s $5,300 discount is substantial. K-State’s strong raw pass-defense results are a reason to scrutinize the matchup, not an automatic fade.
  • Caleb Hawkins at $9,500: a genuine premium option after a major all-around performance. Pairing him with Mestemaker consumes $19,300 before adding a receiver. That construction needs a different salary plan from a Barnett lineup.
  • Brandon Smith at $5,000: Oregon’s recent receiving work is useful, but Dierre Hill Jr. at $6,400 is available. Jordon Davison’s absence does not automatically make Smith the lead back.
  • AJ Swann at $5,700: Mississippi State’s quarterback change is significant, but replacing Kamario Taylor does not mean inheriting Taylor’s rushing production.

Sources: UCLA notes, UCLA market, Oklahoma State recent production, Mississippi State confirms Taylor out.

Three construction paths

Value quarterback start: Barnett $4,500 + Josh Manning $4,900 + Green $4,100 = $13,500. This leaves $36,500 for five slots under the standard $50,000 cap. Green’s uncertain share remains the weakness of this opening.

Houston passing start: Weigman $8,600 + Overmyer $5,400 + Barnett $4,500 + Josh Manning $4,900 = $23,400. With Weigman and Barnett occupying QB and superflex, the remaining $26,600 must cover two running backs, another receiver and the flex. Add a Houston receiver only if the extra concentration is intentional.

Oregon tournament start: Raiola $6,000 + Moore $7,200 + Barnett $4,500 = $17,700. This leaves $32,300 for five slots. The lower quarterback expenditure makes a premium running back possible without requiring several minimum-salary receivers.

These are budget-checked starting combinations, not optimized complete lineups. No contest entries have been submitted.

Every game on the supplied slate

Noon Texas at Missouri Wingo probable; Coleman questionable; Mosley $4,400 contingency
Noon UCLA at Minnesota Limit costly exposure to the low-total environment
Noon BYU at Utah Martin status before Moa; Dampier $8,800 and Parker $8,800 require premium spending
1 p.m. Oklahoma State at Kansas State Barnett value versus expensive Cowboys game stacks
3 p.m. Texas A&M at South Carolina Sellers $8,300 with Bennett $4,800; verify A&M receiver availability
3:30 p.m. Alabama at LSU Leavitt $9,200 and Jones $7,900 are expensive; Coleman-Williams $7,100 expected to play; verify workload
3:30 p.m. Oregon at Ohio State Moore’s volume; Fahey, not St. Clair, is the announced starter
3:30 p.m. Penn State at Washington Wallace and Hansen split; Koby Howard $6,100 out
3:30 p.m. Cincinnati at Houston Prioritize Houston passing combinations; verify Overmyer
4:15 p.m. Vanderbilt at Mississippi State Taylor out; reassess Swann rather than inheriting old QB assumptions

Final selection

Start the research-based player pool with Barnett, Josh Manning and a Houston passing combination. Moore supplies the clearest alternate receiving-volume case, Wallace is a measured midrange running back option, and Green is a salary-saving choice whose workload needs restraint. Keep Amari Thomas, Mosley and Moa conditional until their injury-related opportunities are confirmed.

Salary-file status flags are a snapshot. Recheck official availability and starting roles before each kickoff, and keep later-starting eligible players in flexible slots when the contest permits late swaps.
