College Football Night Bets | October 3, 2026

The night slate starts at 7 p.m. ET and gives us a better mix than simply betting favorites. We have sides, totals, a team total and a player prop built around games most likely to stay aggressive for four quarters.

Night Card

7:00 ET · SPREAD

BYU -6.5 at TCU

BYU enters unbeaten and rested, and the Cougars have shown they can win without needing one specific game script. TCU has been much less stable.

CTS angle: Below a touchdown, we are comfortable asking BYU to be the cleaner team for four quarters.

7:30 ET · SPREAD

Texas Tech -11.5 at Colorado

Texas Tech has the offensive stability advantage and Colorado’s quarterback situation adds downside if the Buffaloes fall behind. That matters with a double-digit favorite because we want a team capable of turning a one-score lead into separation.

CTS angle: Tech’s ability to keep scoring is more important than simply fading Colorado.

7:30 ET · TOTAL

Washington-USC Over 58.5

This is the game we most want exposure to at night. USC can score quickly, but the defense has also left the door open for opponents. Washington quarterback Demond Williams Jr. adds another stress point with his legs when coverage holds up downfield.

CTS angle: Both teams have paths to the high 20s, and either offense can accelerate the game with explosives.

TEAM TOTAL

Washington Team Total Over 23.5

If you like the full-game over but want a more concentrated angle, Washington’s team total is attractive. USC has already shown vulnerability against competent offenses.

CTS angle: Four scoring drives with three touchdowns gets us close. Williams’ mobility gives Washington an extra red-zone weapon.

WR PROP

Malachi Toney Over 100.5 Receiving Yards

Miami-Clemson is exactly the type of game where we want Miami’s top receiving weapon. Toney brings a concentrated role and explosive-play ability into a matchup that should keep the starters involved.

CTS angle: We prefer betting Toney’s yardage ceiling rather than needing Miami to cover a large road spread.

7:30 ET · TOTAL

Miami-Clemson Over 47.5

Miami has enough offensive firepower to do most of the heavy lifting, while Clemson being at home gives us a better chance of getting the competitive script an over needs.

CTS angle: Miami reaching the low 30s puts this total in a very workable position.

7:30 ET · TOTAL

Utah State-Boise State Under 51.5

Boise State can control possession through the run game and does not need to turn this into a track meet. Utah State’s path to pushing the total requires sustained scoring against a script that may shrink possessions.

CTS angle: Boise winning comfortably does not automatically mean this game gets into the 60s.
