CTS Main Slate Core
Top stack: Cincinnati-Jacksonville
Favorite GPP stack: Houston-Dallas
Favorite QB spend: Josh Allen $7,700
Favorite value QB: Trevor Lawrence $5,900
Favorite RB leverage: Christian McCaffrey $7,700
Favorite WR spend: Puka Nacua $7,500
Favorite TE spend: Brock Bowers $6,900
Favorite value TE: Brenton Strange $3,200
Quarterbacks
Josh Allen $7,700
Allen owns the best raw quarterback ceiling on the slate. New England is without Christian Gonzalez and Christian Barmore, strengthening an already strong Buffalo scoring environment.
Joe Burrow $6,800
Burrow is our preferred Cincinnati stack quarterback. Jaguars-Bengals remains the slate’s most-discussed game environment, with Ja’Marr Chase $8,100 and Tee Higgins $6,100 as the direct pairings.
Trevor Lawrence $5,900
Lawrence is the strongest value quarterback in our pool. He gives us the cheaper side of the same Cincinnati-Jacksonville shootout and can be paired with Parker Washington $6,500, Jakobi Meyers $5,000 or Brenton Strange $3,200.
C.J. Stroud $5,700
Stroud remains our favorite alternate GPP stack. Nico Collins $7,200 is available, while Dallas is without CB Cobie Durant and LB DeMarvion Overshown.
Running Backs
Christian McCaffrey $7,700
McCaffrey remains our favorite premium leverage back. He has no game designation, while San Francisco is missing Nick Bosa and Mykel Williams on defense, which could keep Denver competitive enough to preserve four quarters of offense.
James Cook III $7,400
Cook is a strong Buffalo exposure with a real workload and touchdown path. Ray Davis remains questionable with a hamstring issue, which is worth monitoring before the afternoon lock.
Derrick Henry $8,400
Henry owns the clearest multi-touchdown favorite script against Tennessee. Baltimore is missing two centers, which is a real offensive-line downgrade, but the game environment still supports Henry’s ceiling.
Chase Brown $6,100
Brown gives us access to Cincinnati scoring without forcing every Bengals touchdown through Burrow. He is especially useful in lineups that do not double-stack Chase and Higgins.
Aaron Jones Sr. $6,000
Jones remains in the tournament pool with Justin Jefferson out for Minnesota. His receiving role can matter more if the Vikings redistribute short-area volume.
Braelon Allen $5,200
Breece Hall is officially out, making the Jets backfield one of the clearest injury-created value spots on the early slate. Allen gets the strongest role bump, but Isaiah Davis can still absorb work, so the case is increased rushing and goal-line opportunity rather than assuming a guaranteed bellcow role.
Wide Receivers
Puka Nacua $7,500
Puka has no game designation and remains one of the slate’s strongest target-ceiling plays. Philadelphia is without DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert on offense, which can also alter the overall game environment.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba $9,100
JSN is the raw ceiling spend. Seattle is without Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price, potentially concentrating even more of the offense around Kenneth Walker and the passing game.
Ja’Marr Chase $8,100
Chase remains the premium attachment to our favorite game stack. Cincinnati is without safety Kyle Dugger, while Jacksonville has multiple defensive backs carrying questionable tags, reinforcing the shootout path without pretending those questionable players are out.
Parker Washington $6,500
Washington remains our preferred Jacksonville receiver in the game stack and has become a major Sunday-morning industry play. His salary is no longer cheap, so we want the concentrated target role to continue.
Nico Collins $7,200
Collins is fully available and remains our preferred Houston attachment. Dallas-Houston continues to be our favorite alternative game stack.
Jordan Addison $5,300
Justin Jefferson is officially out, giving Addison one of the cleanest target-distribution upgrades on the slate. He belongs in the value/mid-range pool against Miami.
Garrett Wilson $6,800
Breece Hall, Adonai Mitchell and Mason Taylor are out for the Jets. That keeps Wilson’s target tree concentrated, although Caleb Williams being out on the other side can lower the overall game pace and shootout probability.
Zay Flowers $6,900
Flowers remains officially QUESTIONABLE with a hamstring injury, but NFL.com reports he is expected to play. Until the official inactive list confirms it, we are treating him as expected in rather than confirmed active.
Ladd McConkey $5,800
McConkey remains officially QUESTIONABLE with a foot injury, and NFL.com reports he is likely to play. Because the Chargers are a late game, we will not call him active until the official inactive list confirms it.
Tight Ends
Brock Bowers $6,900
Bowers is limited on the injury report but does not currently carry an OUT designation. His target ceiling remains slate-winning, but late-game status must be confirmed before treating him as a normal premium spend.
Trey McBride $6,500
McBride remains the cleanest premium Arizona attachment and pairs naturally with Jacoby Brissett.
George Kittle $5,100
Kittle is our favorite mid-tier ceiling play. Denver’s defense is capable of creating pressure, but Kittle can win at the position without requiring premium salary.
Travis Kelce $5,000
Kelce deserves more consideration than our earlier version gave him. Las Vegas has been vulnerable to tight ends, and Kansas City carries one of the stronger late-game scoring environments.
Brenton Strange $3,200
Strange remains our favorite cheap correlation piece in Cincinnati-Jacksonville. The salary creates a very different roster than paying for Bowers or McBride.
Favorite Stacks
Top: Burrow + Chase/Higgins + Parker Washington or Strange. Value version: Lawrence + Washington/Meyers/Strange + Chase or Higgins. GPP: Stroud + Collins + CeeDee Lamb $7,800 or George Pickens $6,300.
Sunday-Morning Injury Branches
Confirmed OUT: Breece Hall, Caleb Williams, Baker Mayfield, Justin Jefferson, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price are among the skill-position absences that materially change this slate. Still unresolved: Zay Flowers, Ladd McConkey and Mike Evans remain conditional plays until official game-day status is available.
How We Are Building
Start with one coherent stack, then decide which injury-created values actually have enough role to deserve the salary relief. Do not automatically jam every backup created by an OUT designation. Our favorite ways to differentiate remain McCaffrey, the Houston-Dallas stack, premium tight end and alternative constructions of the Cincinnati-Jacksonville game.
